On Sunday, 15th January "Mini European Championship 2012" was held for boys and girls born 2001 year and younger. Participants in this 4th traditional simulation of the Championship were the following clubs: HC Kolubara from Lazarevac, HC Šamor from Aranđelovac, HC Hajduk Veljko from Negotin, Belegrade clubs Rukobel, Studentski Grad, Novi Beograd, Železničar, IM Rakovica and as host, HC Partizan. Hungarian young national team are also participating, so tornament got the international relevance.
The tournament began at 10 am and it was officially opened by player Serbian player Savo Mešter with the first shot of Partizans players Marsenić and Babić. Beside handball, everybody were constantly entertained with black-white Panda mascot, who was named "Radojica". During the short break, Partizan played the match versus mixed teams of children without parental care from their foster homes "Drinka Pavlović" and "Jovan Jovanović Zmaj". After this game, all children received gifts from Partizan players. On the most beautiful arranged simulation, the closing ceremony was spectacular. The director of handball club Partizan, Mr. Aleksandar Blagojević gave the awards to the referees, who judged over 50 games without any kind of payment. Then, Mr. Blagojević gave awards to the representative of "Knjaz Miloš" who helped the tournament and to special guests, the Ambassador of Norway, Mr. Nils and to the representative of the Embassy of Croatia Mr. Sabljak. At the end of the event all the teams that have played and their coaches were declared as the champions of "Mini European Championship 2012 - Enjoy the game". All participants unanimously wished all the happiness to the Serbian National Championship team.
